Schauschau renders identity visible: by creating a new visual identity for the Society of Friends of Berlin University of the Arts – the Karl Hofer Society – that focuses on the circle as the fundamental form for an inclusive, facilitating network of sponsors and sponsored persons. The circle embodies the concept of the protected zone for artistic development that the Karl Hofer Society creates for students and graduates with its support measures. The seal-like esthetic conveys the message clearly and, at the same time, discreetly that the Society of Friends stands for a high level of quality. Connecting, supporting, and accepting into a community – all this is symbolized by the new, circular logo.
